Forest City Lovers

Things are getting done. The record, which is titled Carriage, is currently being mixed. This is a detailed process of basically making the songs as amazing as they can be. It takes a little time. While Chris + Jamie have been mixing the record, we’ve been popping in and making small changes here and there. Overall it’s sounding nice and full. A step in the right direction I reckon.

I’ve been busy finishing the artwork. I can tell you that there isn’t an animal on the cover (a first!) and the design was inspired by Italian stitched lace patterns and a crocheted gift from a friend. Aren’t you dying of curiosity? The big reveal will come in a couple weeks along with the tracklisting. Patience is of paramount importance.

I can say, personally, that I am really looking forward to getting this record out. We’ve been working really hard on it and it’s been a whole new experience for a lot of us. Blood sweat and tears have gone into this, and we can only hope that our pretty young thing will be as warmly welcomed by others as it was by us. There is a lot of pollen in the air lately and I think it’s making me more dramatic. So it goes. We’ll keep you updated, keep checking back. Big announcement = first week of May. Be there.
